In the third quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in the Middle East exhibited diverse performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at these apps' weekly downloads and active user numbers.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 31K and 36K. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting from around 926K and reaching approximately 935K by the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, moving from 33.5K at the beginning of July to about 25K by the end of the quarter. However, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 150K to 160K.

Careem – rides, food & more saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 26K and closing with nearly 25K. The app's weekly active users also rose, reaching a peak of over 291K in early September before settling at around 271K by quarter's end.
